My radio career started in 1987 at KTRU (96.1 FM, Houston, Texas). I coined the term ‘Rice Radio Reggae’. I attended Reggae Sunsplash in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 1987 and 1988. I have been making regular guest appearances annually for 35 years.

I also had a radio reggae show at WRPI (91.5 FM, Troy, New York). 1992-1994.

On Radio One in Winterthur, Switzerland, you could hear my voice in 1993.

Morning Flowers at Radio Tropic (93.0 FM, Zürich, Switzerland), primarily ‘Morning Flowers’ from 6-9am, Monday through Friday featuring music from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. 1999-2006.

October 2016 until 2019, I was on air weekly on KKRN (88.5 FM, Round Mountain, California) on Mondays from 2-4pm pacific.

From July 2017 until June of 2019, I was also doing radio at KALX 90.7 FM in Berkeley, California.

and today… back at KTRU Rice Radio Reggae. Since December 2021 with a regular show each week Wednesdays 5-7 PM Central Time.
